Early access
Use ThoroughTrack in your yard before it reaches the App Store or Google Play. Pilot builds will be installed through Apple TestFlight and Google Play internal testing.
We’re inviting a small number of racing yards to use ThoroughTrack in real morning work before it reaches the app stores — and to tell us plainly what works, what doesn’t and what’s missing.
Who it’s for
The arrangement
Use ThoroughTrack in your yard before it reaches the App Store or Google Play. Pilot builds will be installed through Apple TestFlight and Google Play internal testing.
Your feedback goes straight to the person writing the app — no ticket queue, no account manager in between.
Pilot yards help decide what gets finished first and how it should work on a busy morning.
We plan to help pilot yards import existing horse records from a CSV export, using a secure, encrypted process. It’s a hands-on service, not a button you press.
Log first lot, second lot and the health checks between them in ThoroughTrack — not in a test yard, in yours.
What’s slow, what’s missing, what doesn’t match how your yard works. Blunt feedback is the useful kind.
Records are only as good as the people keeping them. We’ll want to hear from the trainer, the yard manager or head lad, and riders.
Things will change between builds and some things will break. We’ll fix what we can quickly and tell you what changed.
Honest status
Built, but not yet released — still being checked on real devices.
What we’re finishing before pilot yards start.
Planned for launch, after the pilot-ready build.
After that comes the public launch on the App Store and Google Play. We don’t give dates until we’re sure of them. For the full picture, see features.
Your data during the pilot
Pilot data is real data about real horses and real people. Here’s how it’s looked after.
Your stable’s data is stored with EU-hosted services, and backups are encrypted. During the pilot, backups run every six hours.
Records saved on a device are encrypted and left out of Android device backups. Signing out wipes them from that device.
Location is recorded only while a rider runs an exercise recording they started themselves. Your yard decides whether to use it, and it stays off until the worker-location paperwork is in place.
If we help you bring records across, the file travels encrypted and is checked in a dry run before anything lands in your stable.
No advertising identifier, and no open or click tracking in our emails.
A Stable Admin export is planned, and anyone can ask us to delete their account by email from our Delete your account page, without needing the app. An in-app Delete account option is being added before store launch.
Pricing hasn’t been set, so you won’t find a price list here. Payments aren’t built into the app: during the pilot, early testers are invoiced manually, on terms we agree with each yard individually before you start. Nothing is charged without that conversation.
How to apply
Send us your details
One email with the essentials about your yard. The button opens it ready to fill in.
We get back to you
A real reply from the person building ThoroughTrack, not an automated sequence. If it looks a good fit, we’ll arrange a chat about how your yard runs.
You’re invited in
Pilot access is by invitation. We’ll agree terms with you, set up your stable and help bring your existing records across.
Opens your email app with a subject line and the checklist already filled in, addressed to hello@thoroughtrack.ie.
Prefer to write it yourself?
Please don’t send horse health records, staff details or spreadsheets at this stage — a short description is all we need.
How we handle your application, and how long we keep it: privacy notice.
Questions
No. The pilot is by invitation, and we’re keeping it to a small number of yards so each one gets proper attention. If you’d like to be considered, email us your details.
When the build is pilot-ready — GPS gallop tracking, full health records, horse photos and assisted import are the main pieces still to finish. We don’t publish dates; we’ll keep applicants posted directly.
Pricing hasn’t been set, so we don’t list any. There are no in-app payments in the first release: early testers are invoiced manually, on terms agreed with each yard individually before you start.
Not yet. ThoroughTrack isn’t in the App Store or Google Play, and there’s no public beta. Pilot yards install it through Apple TestFlight or Google Play internal testing.
iPhone and iPad on iOS 16.4 or later, and Android phones and tablets on Android 8.0 or later. It’s designed phone-first for one-handed use in the yard.
That’s the idea. Records are saved on the phone first and sync when you’re back in signal; if something can’t sync, the app tells you rather than quietly dropping it. Offline sync is in the build today and is being checked on real devices.
No. Location is recorded only while a rider has an exercise recording running, which they start themselves and which is clearly shown in the app while it runs, with a notification on Android. There’s no live tracking of riders. Your yard is responsible for that data and decides whether to use GPS at all. Read how location data works.
No. It recognises a set of supported questions and opens the matching report. It works offline, and if it doesn’t recognise a question it shows examples it can answer rather than guessing.
Owner reports, sharing and the read-only owner login are planned for the release after the pilot-ready build, so pilot yards will see them as they arrive. See what’s planned for owners.
Not yet. ThoroughTrack is being built so your yard team can record farrier visits and vaccinations, but vets and farriers won’t have their own access in the first release.
